Default 2nd try on ATKINS 1st try 40yrs ago

First I would like to thank the kind person who helped me begin a thread about hormones & weight gain. When I first tried a real ruff graft of this diet I was really impressed with the 5lb. loss in one week. However, It's very slow now. I realize I'm older too. I lost 6lbs. in 2 wks. Only to get on the scale this am to have gained ALL 6 back! Ive been extremely faithful & believe I know the things to stay away from by now. Ketones were registering in moderate range the whole time except for yerserday. They registered nothing. Yesterday was the 3lb gain, today, was the other 3. Water weight?? That fast?? Help please. I may never know what went wrong, but sure would.
I could also use some assistance in manuvering around this web sight. Computers are still a little confusing & I want to get it right. Thank you for your help.

Are you getting enought water? Are you exercising, walking? I am on my second time with Atkins and the weight is coming off much slower, but it is coming off. I have found that I really have to exercise religiously and get my water in for the weight to come off. Stay faithful to the diet and give your body some time to adjust.

Hi Ceemarie! Thanks for reply. Yes to both. In my research, I found out that it is water gain. Have been on all natural hormones for3 mo. Looking at calen. this would be a pre mens. time for me. A water gain. I am addicted to scale! My mood represents what the scale tells me. (bad, I know).The weirdest thing tho, on Sun., in ketosis, Mon., out of ketosis with a weight gain of 3lbs! Tues., same thing with an added gain of 3 more lbs!! Today, Wed. down by 2. What the hecks up with that? I am NOT giving up this time tho! Like you, was going slow. About 2lbs. per wk. I'm okay with that but the gain? Not. Thank you again for your reply. If I am in the wrong thread or something it's only because I'm not quite a computer wiz. I'll work on it.
