| You can't make up for something you've already eaten so just go forward from here. Nuts are allowed on Rung 3 -- but only 1 ounce at a time. To prepare for the future, when you are sitting with friends and they are eating junk microwave some deli deluxe cheese (cut into small pieces) as a cheese cracker, get some veggies and eat them, roll up deli meat with a pickle slice and/or cream cheese, you can make chicken wings (homemade - not from Pizze Hut, Buffalo Wild Wings, etc -- those have non-induction ingredients) you can eat olives -- everything should be weighed before you eat it. Deviled eggs or hard boiled eggs are another thing you could have enten. If you know you have a problem with a certain food you should stay away from it -- and make sure you aren't eating anything not on the "rung" you are at the time you are eating. According to the almond package I have 1 ounce of Almonds is 160 calories and 3 net carbs so if you ate "about 600 calories" in almonds and you ate anything else during the day you probably did go over your carb allowance for the day. Have you been on the plan long enough to get into keotsis? If not that may be the reason you were still having cravings. Do you have the 2002 Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution (DANDR) book and have you read it? Are you eating the correct foods so you aren't hungry for junk? If a food isn’t listed on the acceptable food list it doesn’t belong in your mouth – no exceptions! Look at the ingredients list and check it against the acceptable food list -- just because it says "low carb" doesn't mean you can eat it. Here is the acceptable food list: http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...induction.html (What foods can be eaten on Induction?) and the rules of induction: http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...induction.html (What are the Rules of Induction?) (What are the Rules of Induction?) The recipe sites are a helpful meal planning tool – just make sure you use Induction Recipes to begin with.
