Atkins & Metformin?

Hi Everyone
Going to give induction a try tomorrow. I am currently taking 500mg x3 a day of Metformin. Should I stop while on induction? Any advice would be great.

You are taking it strictly for PCOS not for diabetes?
In either case keep going with the meds and just do induction as normal. The metformin is there to help you of you are insulin resistant.

Thx for the speedy reply - only for PCOS.
I will continue on as normal! Hopefully induction will go well!

I do take metformin 500* 3 times aday and i am on induction for 2 weeks now ... I did have some shakness and was light headed at the begining but then i knew i had to take more fat into my diet .. and so i did and i feel much better now .. my gyno told me to stick to low carb because i am aslo diaganosed with PCOS and she says that it the best life style for women like me ... Any how stay on ur meds that was the doctors order for me...
