| Sorry we mised you post for so long. we have many folk doing Atkins who are members here without gall bladers. Bile is produced in the liver for fat digetstion it wwas just stored in the gallblader for rapid release when needed you are constantly releasing it. Your body will adapt to having the higher fat content in your diet and the diareah will stop. you can add some soluble fiber to your meals as psyllium to help absorb some of the liquids whiuch will help slow down the passage speed. As for the TTC#1( trying to conceive first child) we have many preggo low carber right now too so low carbing seems to help fertility to. We know low carbing helps PCOS especially if you are insulin ressitant as it is the insukin that interferes with the conversion of the androgen to the estrogen and atkins helps the body cure the insulin resistance problems by limiting the exposaure to insulin to much smaller amounts allowing the cells to once a gain be sensitized to it just as in a few weeks your taste buds will become resensetized to sweet from very very small amounts in meats and veggies. Since you are trying to get preggo please pleae m,ake sure you are taking your prenatal vits so when you do the very early developing embryo will have the vits it neds to become a healthy neurological babby as those defectsd like spina bifida occur very very early from a lack of the neded folic acid and nothing you do after you findout can reverse the damage. Happy low carbing.

| I'm PCOS, Candida, and TTC #2, so I know the frustration, and the hoping month after month. Yes, this diet has helped several people realize the dream of conception. As for the Gall Bladder, my sister in law had hers removed and had the same misery you describe of quick painful elimination right after eating. I think its better now, as she never complains of it. I think the Fiber is a great idea. Hope it works out for you. Doing the KISS version of the diet has really helped me with my painful diahrea problem. You might want to check that out, here's the link. http://www.angelfire.com/rnb/irock/kiss_rules.html http://hometown.aol.com/adelestrat/m...atprofile.html http://www.conniems.com/antiyeast.html The last link I found really neat, since in her story, she explains she had been ttc, and she did conceive after doing the KISS diet for a few months. Best of luck! |
