| Yes, I'm afraid needles are a part of finding out if you have PCO. Fortunately, you can have them schedule all the tests at the same time, so that they can draw all the blood at once. I've been to both an OBY/GYN, and to an endo. In my opinion, the GYN served me better. The biggest most important thing is researching and finding a doctor who is up to date on PCO. So many doctors are stuck in the Stevens Leventhal frame of mind...."just give birth control pills and all will be well" I'll never understand how I can access so much up to date info on the internet, and they can't seem to find any. HMMMM. Hope this helps. |
