Default Living w/PCOS - Wednesday, Sept 27

Hey Ladies!

I just wanted to check with all of you who are living with PCOS to see how you were doing.

From everything I've read it seems that the Atkins program (low-carb) is the way to go to help treat our symptoms. Today I found a post by someone who has PCOS and who has been successful in treating her symptoms through low-carbing. (You can find her post in this forum -- she is MickyMc.)

So, this is just a message to let you know...There is hope!

Please don't get discouraged and give up. Please stick with it! I know if we don't stick with the program, we are going to regret it later since there are so many major problems that come along with PCOS.

I want to let you know that I am here too living with PCOS and I want to make this work. We can do it together!

The road will be long, but will be worth it in the end. We can do this! We must do this for ourselves.

I hope you join me in fighting for our lives (so to speak).

I'll be here and if you don't see me around the board, please send me a PM (personal message) and I'll try to get back with you as soon as possible.

Hugs to all of you.

Happy Tuesday, October 18!

Good afternoon to all those with PCOS.

I just wanted to say that I'm still here and still plugging along.

I hope everyone else is keeping on course and ready to see better changes in their life.

What a beautiful Fall weekend!

I'm still alive and kickin'!!

I also wanted to say that I'm enjoying OWL very much! I hope everyone out there with PCOS is taking this journey too. It is a great adventure to self-awareness and self-discovery all leading us to be healthier and to lose weight.

I'd love to read about your experiences on Atkins and how it works with your PCOS.

I've been on the eating program for over three months now (OWL - Berries) and I can finally say that I actually WANT this to be my way of eating for life. Yes, I'm enjoying it that much! It is hard to think that it could get any better than this -- it is that good!

Hope you have a great evening!

Hugs to all my PCOSisters.
