| I am in the same boat as you, I am just beginning! Just a tip, make sure you follow the diet 100%. Even something small can cause us to not lose. ALSO I found that for me I have to CUT out ALL sweeteners! Its a bummer, sad but true.. You will get there! Besides dont judge by the scale! Take a weekly photo! That's my plan! PCOS SUCKS!!!!!

| mrshood- are you drinking enough water? how about exercise? speaking as one who was real sloooowwwww to get myself into exercising regularly, i can state that once you do it, you will feel so much better and you will begin to notice the weight and/or inches coming off. even going for a brisk walk (like 1-2 miles) a couple times a week should help. for real. renee |

| mrshood--It can be extremely frustrating when you're trying to lose weight & you have PCOS. You read about some other folks losing 20+ pounds during induction & you end up losing, maybe, a few pounds. (I don't recall what I lost during induction, but it wasn't much) You just have to realize that everyone is different & that the weight WILL come off with diligence & commiting yourself to sticking to low-carbing AND exercise. You'll start to feel better and your clothes will become looser, I promise!!! Try to avoid the scale b/c it's a downer to one's self-esteem when the needle isn't moving! A pair of pants or measuring tape is a better guide to how you're doing. It took me over a year to lose 35 pounds and I still have a LOOOOONG way to go, but I'm not letting that stop me from living this WOE/WOL. Good luck to you, mrshood, and don't give up! |

| Hang in there! Weight is a fickle thing! One day you'll lose 3 pounds, then it will be 2 weeks, than big drop! Another tip is to go ahead after induction and move up the rungs. More veggies ofter trigger more weight loss. Also try using Phyllium husk (available at Walmart) Its 100% pure fiber, and keeps you regular, prevents water retention. Its a great weight loss aid for me. I only take 2 capsules at night, and its helped alot! Please don't give up! Sometimes those who start slow have gone on to be our biggest losers! |
