Thumbs down So mad at myself!!!

Hi Everyone

I am so mad at myself. We went on holiday and I had chips, chocolates, bread and loads of suger
Yesterday I started with Atkins again and just had such a bad craving for something sweet that I drove to the supermarket and bought loads of sweets. Today is so difficult, but I really want to beat my cravings again. My acne are back and I just feel so mad at myself.

How will I ever fall pregnant?

What do you ladies do if you have a strong craving?

Take care

Stardust, there comes a time when you just stop trading what you want most for what you want at the moment and you suck it up and do it. Even when it bites and it's really, really hard, you just do it.

If you're TTC and it's what you want most - you have to ask yourself if the sweets are more important. If they're not, walk away. Each time you walk away you're that much closer. If you have to, put post it notes to remind you of that everywhere.

Stardust - first of all, throw out those sweets!

It is hard! Drink alot of water and get prepared for a few days at a time, this will help when you are in the mood to snack on something. Need some crunch-snack on celery with cream cheese or dip in ranch dressing. Craving something sweet? Sometimes eating protein will actually satisfy that. Or how about looking through the dessert recipes and finding one that will work with where you are at in the phases/rungs right now?

Being prepared is really the key, after awhile it will become habit, but until then...fighting that monster with it's own game by being prepared with foods will help alot!

Another trick..keep yourself busy! Find hobbies that will use your hands and keep your mind occupied. Almost like quitting smoking, one must trade one habit with another...

to you!

Please keep us updated on how you are doing!!

Hi

Thank you for both your messages. Brook you are right, I need to suck it up if I want to become pregnant. Thinsoon, thank you so much for your support. I gave all my sweets away yesterday before I came here to post. I am already doing better with my cravings since yesterday.
I also looked at my way of eating on Atkins and I think I had to much cream, that is why I didn't lose that well on Induction. Now I will only have one cup of decafe coffee with cream at night after dinner. I do want to make Atkins my way of eating for the rest of my life .... I just need to suck it up !!! (HE-HE)

Thanks again for the support

Take care
