Default What am I doing wrong?

I have lost 4 lbs in one week, that was two weeks ago. The second week I didnt lose a pound. I'm into the third week now and still no weightloss.
Here is my menu on a typical day:
Breakfast:
one beef sausage and one boiled egg
Lunch:
same as breakfast or two pieces of KFC grilled chicken
Dinner:
two pieces of KFC grilled chicken or grilled steak and veggies

I also exercise daily. I walk 3 miles in 45 mins or swim for 30 mins

Is my diet too high in fat???
I really need to drop 16 lbs before Aug 10

I also take a teaspoon of coconut oil 3 times a day.

I don't see enoughvegetables in your menu -- you are suppose to be eating 3 cups of veggies (2 cups of salad veggies and 1 cup from the "other" list) daily. You should be having some sort of veggies off and on during the day not just at night. ALSO:

The KFC grilled chicken you are eating has so many ingredients which are bad for you -- I'd stop eating it. Here is what the ingredients are:

Maltodextrin, Salt, Bleached Wheat Flour, Partially Hydrogenated Soybean and Cottonseed Oil, Monosodium Glutamate, Spices, Palm Oil, Natural Flavor, Garlic Powder, Soy Sauce (Soybean, Wheat, Salt), Chicken Fat, Chicken Broth, Autolyzed Yeast, Beef Powder, Rendered Beef Fat, Extractives of Turmeric, Dehydrated Carrot, Onion Powder, and Not More Than 2% Each of Calcium Silicate and Silicon Dioxide Added as Anticaking Agents.

Wow, did you accidently leave "chicken" off from the ingredients or is there really no actual chicken in it? Not that I would be surprised... but still!

To the OP: It doesn't seem like you're eating enough food, and I second the need for more veggies and less KFC! I tend to think the fiber from the veggies is one of the things that really helps this diet work. When I neglect my need for veggies, my weight loss is not as good as it is when I'm good about veggies.

WOWZERS! Never thought grilled chicken would be made with bleached flour. I had heard a couple of years ago that KFC doesn't even use quality chicken. It's like grade C chicken that barely passes the FDA's standards. Don't know how true that is though.

All meat that goes for public use has to pass USDA inspections - I seriously doubt KFC doesn't use "quality chicken" -- Taco Bell and Pizza Hut are owned by the same company (YUM Brands) that KFC is owned by -- with that volume of food daily and the price they charge I would say it IS "quality chicken"
