Well, I hope so, anyway! Hopefully, little man will not come too early but not late. I am pretty much ready, God willing; I have my bag packed, the baby's bag packed and I have as much as I think I will need for my little guys first months of life! Being a first time mommy, the birth is actually scary to me but I have been looking into this "HypnoBirthing" thing and it supposedly helps with natural childbirth with no medication. I am planning on a natural birth with no meds and no medical intervention, if God says the same. I really don't want an epi or episiotomy or anything like that. So I am trying this Hypnobirthing and relaxation so that I can have a calm, natural, and medicated birth. I noticed from many of my friends who have babies that many doctors induce or do c-sections out of fear; fear of malpractice instead of letting the body actually do what it was made to do. Sure many women have to have intervention but many do it out of fear and I don't blame them. I have had friends who have actually told me of their OB's who wanted to induce or do a c-section because of a golf date, it was Christmas eve and they were going out of town, a family event, etc. One of my friends switched doctors 2 weeks before her due date because her OB wanted to induce her because she was going out of town for a family reunion and wanted to deliver her before she left because she didnt want to miss it! What is wrong with these people?? Oops, sorry, had a pregnancy rant there for a minute! lol! Anyway, I am anxious for him to get here and see his little face! 6 weeks is so short but seems so long, too. I can't believe it! This Mother's Day, I will truly be somebody's mommie! How great is that?

Congrats to you . I agree with letting nature takes it course, and I find it pretty selfish for a doc to do something like that.

Your baby is actually due a day after my b-day. I'm praying for a b-day Miracle !
