| Hi ![]() Congratulations and best wishes for a safe pregnancy. Are you eating Atkins maintenance-style menus at present? If so just continuing to eat the same way should allow you not to add fat to your body. Avoiding the 'whites' (sugar/flour/white rice/etc) and keeping your higher rung food choicees 'occasional' would be perfectly healthy and just what Dr Atkins suggested in DANDR ![]() If however you have drifted into a more carby area of eating then maybe returning to maintenance food choices and eating around your CCLM would be a good move.

| When I was pregnant with my DD I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. I followed the Diabetic diet which is just like Atkins Maintenance, imo. I stayed away from all the white stuff and ate complex carbs, no simple carbs. Also stayed away from empty calories. I only gained 19 pounds throughout my pegnancy. Ditto what Eli says as well. Oh, and congratulations, wishing you a happy, joyful and healthy pregnancy.

| Thanks ladies. I was doing Induction when I got pregnant. I've increased my carbs but I'm scared to add too many. I really don't want to blow up like I did last time!
