| Much of the weight gain during IVF is bloating, which will go away in the weeks after the embryo transfer. I personally wouldn't do any sort of extreme dieting while undergoing IVF. (By extreme I mean anything that completely excludes certain foods.) Your body needs a variety of nutrients from all sorts of foods, especially during the few months leading up to egg retrieval, as your eggs take 3 months to mature. Good luck! |
