Default Please post recipe requests here, not recipes. Thanks.

This forum is for requesting a recipe or a type of recipe that you would like to learn how to prepare. Other folks can answer these questions by posting their recipes or ideas. If you just want to share a recipe that you already have, please use the forums or the database.

We are in transition to a new database format for recipes. The new recipe database is here:
http://www.lowcarbrecipes.org/

If you have a great idea for a recipe, please post it in the recipe database. Thanks.

Default I can't get

into the 'old' board link. Can you send me the pork rind, cinnamon and splenda recipe? Also the pumpkin snack that you bake with 1/2 & 1/2 and I can't remember what else.

I wish I knew the board was going to be shut down I would of copied and saved the recipes.

Ahh, I see. Only the moderators can see the old recipe forums. For everyone else, the database at www.lowcarbrecipes.org is the only option.

The administration (that would be Tom, not me) has decided that they no longer want recipe forums. Instead, a new recipe database has been set up where our old recipes are being entered. Unfortunately we have had some technical issues with this database. People are having difficulty saving recipes and we lost all the data at one point. So it may be a slow process.

I am sorry for all the difficulty and for losing our recipe forums, but there is not much I can do about it. If you have any questions or comments or technical issues with the database, please PM tom.

I hope this is in the correct place.............!!

I found the Mini Carb Pie Crust mix on sale for .25 a box (!!) at Walmart this weekend,so I bought one box.....

Since I am NOT a pie eater, I have no intention of making a crust. What I was going to do is either:

A. Eliminate the butter that it tells you to add and just use it as a bake mix.........or

B. Prepare it the way it says on the box and try to make a "Hot Pocket" type thing. I plan on using cooked hamburger and pepperoni and cheese as a filling. But, as usual, I have no idea what to use as a "binding agent".

Does anyone have any other ideas or comments about my ideas?

Wink Re: Please post recipe requests here, not recipes. Thanks.

I would like a recipe for a creamy no bake cheese cake. I saw one on the bake of jennifer eloff books with the strawberry top, but don't want to buy the whole book just for one recipe. I have some of her other books, but would love to have a recipe for a creamy no bake cheeke cake.
