The flax crackers are quite good, and you can also use your daily flax ration to:

* Add body to the "mock danish"
* Make a crust for an Atkins friendly cheesecake by mixing liberally with butter, cinnamon and Splenda
* Add to crushed pork rinds and Parmesan for a great breading on chicken or chicken fried steak.

Check out our recipe database linked off the main board index.

Here is a great induction breakfast with flax.. actually I still use it on occasion .

1tsp of milled (grounded) flax seed
1 dash of vanilla
1 dash of splenda
1 dash of cinnamon

Mix it together in a bowl, then flatten on piece of foil, then back for about 610 minutes at 350/375 depends on your oven. This is great with cream cheese or plain. I sometimes use the flaxseed with a little garlic and make "toast"
for chicken salad.

I also have used it as a crust for cheesecake...yummy!
Good Luck....

Flax Cereal has become my new Cream of Wheat. I ate it for the first time yesterday and was smiling ear to ear.

3 tbsp Flax meal
1 splenda packet
1 tsp vanilla
1tbsp heavy cream
1 tsp no sugar/no carb maple syrup

Put all ingredients in a cereal bowl, fill till a little above mixture, don't saturate and put in microwave for 45 seconds. I tore this up this morning too! lol
