Default anything good i can do with fat free cream cheese?

the stuff is pretty awful but is there any way i can make it into a cheesecake or something else that tastes decent? all the low carb recipes ive seen [smartly] use full fat or low fat cream cheese. the only recipe i've found that manages to hide the digusting taste of the fat free cream cheese is one with sf jell-o, vanilla extract and splenda.
thanks in advance! =)

I've never tasted fat free so I can't be sure how horrible it is. lol But I would go with something savory maybe. I eat a lot of cream cheese but rarely use it for sweet dishes.

Maybe try it in Linda's Low Carb Menus & Recipes

Linda Sues just like stuffed baked potato. I'm thinking maybe the regular cheese would mask the flavor? I use sharp cheese in everything so it is overpowering and good.

I also like either ground beef mixed with cream cheese or breakfast sausage also mixed with some sharp cheese to make it like a dip. I use Josephs flax bread made into crackers to dip in it. Just a couple of ideas.

I wouldn't normally buy it....I usually get the one labeled "neufchatel" but anyway, I have always found that garlic or chocolate can fix just about anything! how about a nice garlicky shrimp dip?

Why fat free? You know full fat is better for you on atkins. They have replaced the fat with starches and some sort of sugars. Full fat is natural and has less carbs. Fat free has more carbs and is full of junk that Dr Atkins did not want you put into our bodies

It would be great in the trash can! ha! sorry that's what I'd do with it! Why bother eating something unhealthy like that? Toss it and get yourself some good stuff.

I, also, do not understand why you would be purchasing fat free cream cheese while on Atkins. All the recipes I use with cream cheese involve you tasting it.

for those who were wondering, i always try and keep my fat intake to a minimum when possible. just a personal preference. if i could make something that tastes just as good with none of the fat, then why not? i was just curious to see if it would be possible...guess not! thanks

I'm sorry, maybe I'm missing something but your statement doesn't make sense to me. Placing oneself into ketosis enables the body to burn fat for fuel instead of carbohydrates.(?) Restricting your fat intake--while on Atkins-- should prove to be counterproductive.
