| Oopie, it's very difficult to do Atkins as a vegetarian because the choices are so limited and the diet will get too boring to stay on long. However, some people do manage to do it. | Dr A never approved of vegetarianism, but here are some meatless recipes from Linda's site. If your mom is a vegan, don't think it will work, but if she does eggs, cheese, some of these are my favorites. http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/meatless_recipes.html |

| Hi, No, not vegan, that would be impossible. Thanks, I'll look at that site. I've also ordered a book, Low Carb for Vegetarians, so hopefully that will have some good info too. Regards, Oopie |
