| Cheese crackers. Any cheese is fine as long as it's not processed cheese. What I do is shred my own cheese (the one you buy shredded usually has some starch added to prevent caking) and microwave it on parchment paper. Mom tried to make the crackers in the oven, but they weren't as crispy as the microwaved ones. I'm not sure if the problem is her oven or if they just don't work in the oven... Just make sure you are eating real crab, because the fake one is packed with sugars.

I believe that the best way to overcome temptation is not with willpower, which is so often in short supply, but with our brain power, a potentially unlimited resource. Imagine that you're doing great, losing weight, feeling better than ever, thrilled with yourself, hearing compliments from friends and acquaintances---and then it happens! Despite all your good intentions, you're mightily tempted by a food you're not supposed to have. What to do? I'll tell you this: You'd better have a strategy ready!"
