Question Strawberry Smoothie?

I am looking for a recipe for smoothies that would use plain yogurt. I don't really want protein powder, etc in it. Just strawberries, yogurt, sweetener, ice and ??? I am not sure what else I would add but seems it needs a liquid?

Thanks
Jane

Hi Jane,
I think you have it. I would make sure to whiz it up with ice to make it nice and thick. Hope it works for you.

You do not really need a lot more. If it is too thick you can add a bit of milk, cream or almond milk.
There is a recipe in the Atkins for Life book that I sometimes use it calles for yogurt, strawberries, soft tofu, splenda and ice cubes.

Thanks! It will probably be a few days before I can try this but looking forward to it.

I use frozen fruit and that eliminates the need for ice. It can be thinned out with either plain unsweetened almond milk or a little cream.
