| You can deep fry them. You can bake them. There's no right or wrong way. You might also want to invest in some low carb cookbooks ... the ones by Dana Carpender are good ... as are the ones by Atkins. Linda's website should list the "how".

| I made some last night for supper, and making the rest for tonight. Deep fry those puppies, and toss them in a mix of 1/2 cup Franks Red Hot Sauce and 1/3 cup melted butter. Insane. Crunchy and spicy and so good! |

| It does have carbs. If the ingredients have carbs, the sauce has carbs. I assume there are peppers and some spices among the ingredients.

| I like to deep fry them and after draining on kitchen paper, sprinkle them liberally with a mixture of half five-spice powder and half salt. Squeeze of lemon, if you like. Yummmmmmmm!

| I steam my chicken wings - cool them - then bake them in high heat on parchment paper. Shake them in some Franks and butter and just am in heaven. (Oh yeah I need some blue cheese dressing to go with them)

| I bake them. It's really the sauce that makes the difference but you have to be careful. Alot of hot wing sauce report zero carbs (see Frank's Hot Buffalo Wing Sauce) but since they mostly use cayenne peppers that probably means there's some carbs in it - for instance it could be 0.5 carbs per tablespoon so that adds up if you slather the wings in sauce. Therefore, I try to be "frugal" in the sauce and figure 12 wings probably means about six carbs - which ain't bad. You can "water" down the sauce by heating it up and adding in additional butter and vinegar but that's more trouble than its worth unless you are still in induction. |
