Denny's

I went to Denny's for "lunch" and had a meat lovers omlette, they let me sub in vegetables for my hash browns and pancakes.....it was such a yummy lunch!!!

I didn't know denny's would let you substitute, i stay away from there except for lunch where I either get a chefs salad or a grilled chicken salad....Dawn I will have to see if ours will substitute.

I've been told "No" before for substitutions by Denny's but lately they've been OK, and by lately I mean the past two times I've been there.

Just a quick reminder Denny's usually make their omlets with a little pancake batter in them to get them nice and fluffy you can ask them to use fresh eggs instead because when I go I tell them that I have an allergy to flour so that they don't just use the pre- whipped egg mixture.

I didn't realize that, I know IHOP does that didn't know that Denny's did. I used to live off of their omelets my first time around. Now the closest Denny's is like a half hour or so from home so don't get to frequent there as much. I really miss having them close by.

I work for Denny's and we do not use pancake batter in our omelettes. However, you still may want to ask when you go in, because I don't know how other Denny's restaurants do it. I know the one in Saginaw, Michigan doesn't use pancake batter though!
