Sushi

Hello...I am starting week 2 in induction and have already lost 8 lbs Tonight I am going to eat one of my favorite foods--Japanese--and I already know I have to order sashimi. I was also going to order their mussels, which are baked with cheese and mayonaise, as well as have a cucumber salad with no dresssing ( I think it has sugar). Do these sound ok?

I have been eating something called a "KC Roll" or "Sunny Delight". Its Tuna, Asparagus, and Cream Cheese wrapped in cucumber. Its like candy, and beside the carbs in the cukes, its virtually free.

I love sushi and was devistated to know that I'd pretty much have to turn it into a very, very rare special treat if I'm sticking to low carb. But then I discovered rice-less sushi!! Almost any sushi chef will be happy to make it special for you, just tell them you can't have rice. They add all the usual fillings, wrap in a sea weed wrap & you've got low carb sushi!

Usually they are found in all sushi restaurants in SF Jaybee. They are my favorites.

I live in QC, Canada but i'll gladly travel to SF to try a few of those beauties..lol

Ok...I was awake last night thinking about LC sushi rolls...lol

Yesterday I went into a sushi restaurant and asked if I could have riceless sushi...they looked at me like I had 3 heads! They said the seaweed wrap would rip so it would be very difficult. Could you tell how your LC rolls are made then perhaps I can make them myself...
