anyone tried new grilled chicken from Kfc

i read the nutritional content, and they dont have carbs at all,
im getting bored of plain chicken and this looks great, anyone tried it,

I tried it they are giving free samples today...hurry it's not too late...lol. It was really good! Tasted like oven baked chicken with the semi crispy skin...very good.

I know they call it "grilled chicken", but does anyone know if it contains any trans-fats? I'll have to investigate this...

I have, and it's pretty good actually, I wasn't expecting it to be good at all. I was pretty surprised!

I just looked up the Ingredients in the Grilled Chicken, and here's what I found. how bad is all this? (I haven't eaten it yet.)

KFC® Grilled Chicken Fresh Chicken Marinated with:

Salt, Sodium Phosphate, and Monosodium Glutamate Seasoned with: Maltodextrin, Salt, Bleached Wheat Flour, Partially Hydrogenated Soybean and Cottonseed Oil, Monosodium Glutamate, Spices, Palm Oil, Natural Flavor, Garlic Powder, Soy Sauce (Soybean, Wheat, Salt), Chicken Fat, Chicken Broth, Autolyzed Yeast, Beef Powder, Rendered Beef Fat, Extractives of Turmeric, Dehydrated Carrot, Onion Powder, and Not More Than 2% Each of Calcium Silicate and Silicon Dioxide Added as Anticaking Agents. It might not have any carbs but look what it does have. ??? It has carbs, just not enough for them to count.

I would think the amounts would be negligible but.....for those of us allergic to carbs, probably something to avoid.

I had a small leg the other night and truthfully it was dry and salty tasting - not worth the money we paid. We were out and mom wanted to try it so we did -- we split a 2 piece meal - I had the green beans and a leg -- the beans had very little taste and so did the chicken...

On a scale of 1 - 10 (10 being delicious) I'd give it a 1

A matter of taste, it seems, but I like it very much. I've been crying over the loss of KFC's tender roast chicken for five years, however. The grilled chicken is not quite as good, IMO, but I do like it very much.

I have made several meals off of it (chicken and a salad or chicken and a vegetable) since they started offering it. It has not caused any stalls here, so I would say Desertthorn is correct. Anything not quite Atkins legal would be negligible if you are only having a piece or, probably, even two.

My only problem with it is stopping at one piece because I missed the tender roast for so long.
