Default Menu for Re-start

Hey All-
After a najor stress induced carb binge i have decided to really try my best to do a good induction (just a note....i have been doing the low carb thing for a while and i have done both no caffinee and caffine and i found that my bloodsugar/cravings/weight are not adversly effected by it thus i have decided to keep it in my diet, tho i have cut down signifigantly) so here's my first days menu

i took advantage of a day of no work due to sleep in till 11am so no breakfast

lunch 12:30:
2 eggs scrambled
2 sausages
1 cup of salad with oil and vinager dressing
1 cup coffee with one serving of cream
1 glass of water

Dinner 6 pm:
1 piece of grilled chicken with bacon and provalone cheese melted on top
1 cup of broccoli steamed
1 cup of salad with oil and vinager dressing
water

snack
2 shots expresso with a serving of cream
1 cup of tea with 1 serving of splenda

*water = 48 ounces through out day besides meal times*

and thats all for today.....any suggestions

I think you need more fat. Plug your stuff into fitday and see. Remember, we strive for 65% fat, 30% protein and 5% carbs on induction. Also, hope all that coffee is decaf. Other then that, looks good.

I really dont see how that would put you over your carb limit. Do you use fitday? Hard boiled eggs are great snacks. Special category foods like olives and avocado are also great. A pat of butter on your broccoli.

You are way short on water. You should be drinking 60 oz + 8 for every 25 lbs you need to loose.

You definitely need more water, like Lauren said.

Some ways to get more fat:

I put mayo on my broccoli (I love mayo)
Put lots of butter on your veggies
Cook your eggs in butter or oil
Put olives or avocado on your salads

I'm sure there is many more but those are what I can think of. ha

If it was just one meal during a day then it had too many vegies at once. They should be spaced out thru out the day

12:30 to 7...that's a bit too long to wait between meals. Try and sneak in a snack or two in between.

Also, hopefully that's decaffinated coffe you're drinking. If not, make the switch. :yes
