Default OMG!! See my menu 2nd day

Check this out:

http://www.fitday.com/WebFit/PublicJ...wner=CherTLC4u

Total Calories: 1605
Fat: 72
Carbs: 2
Protien: 25

Remember my BMR is 1594.

I switched to Ranch Dressing today instead of the Blue Cheese.

This seems a bit out of wack to me. Before I added the butter and mayo the numbers were great! But my calories were low.

Dont you think my calories should be higher? My carbs are low.

What do you think?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

BTW ... i drink ALL of my water everyday ... so thats not an issue here.

Cheryl,

Did you do curves today??

I think you should eat a bit more calories if you can .. you're pretty close to your BMR and if you're working out, you need to eat more calories to fuel your body.

It looks like your ratios are pretty good though...maybe a few more veggies would help raise the carb count a bit.

Yes I did Curves today.

I dont know how to up my calories while keeping the other numbers within the range. And to how much higher? If I exercise more that doing just Curves, I need to make it higher?

Eat more protien? and eat just a little more carbs? I can definetly eat more spinach! Yum!!

I dont know exactly how to say this (I'm confused) ... bare with me. If I put all my food into fitday and I look at it after my last meal and it needs some adjustment, I do it now? At this hour?

I really want to get this right.

Higher fat will raise your calories .. Shoot for 65% fat, 30% protein and 5% carbs everyday. A little more fat on the days you are working out won't hurt. Remember, you have to eat fat to burn it!! Fat is calorically dense so by increasing your fat, you will increase your calories.

Start in again tomorrow .. I wouldn't eat anything else today, just work more on raising your calories! Don't be afraid of the FUEL your body needs!

YOU CAN DO IT, SWEETIE! :hug

I try to write up my fitday account before I have eaten my last meal of the day and enter what I am intending to eat for dinner then look at the figures and adjust my dinner menu if needed.

If you can do this it really helps. :hug
