I need to ask if you've read Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution, version 2002 (DANDR for short.)If you haven't yet, please do yourself a favour and get yourself a copy...it's important to know the reasons behind the diet.
If you have read it, remember you need to eat 3 cups of veggies a day, and it's best that you eat a variety of veggies, both for their nutrients and the fiber they offer you.
2 cups of lettuce(especially if it was iceberg lettuce) and a pickle don't really cut it in the nutrient and fiber categories, so have a good look at the two veggie lists, and mix it up a bit. :yes

That's a decent start though, so continue on, spread your veggies through the day as much as you can, and get in a bigger variety of them too.
