Default Me @ Day One OWL, Rung 1 (Veggies)

Today's menu:

Breakfast
- 2 eggs, scrambled
- 1 oz kielbasa
- 1 tbsp Carb Options Ketchup (.9 carbs per tbsp)
- 2.5oz cucumber

Lunch
- 2 cups romaine
- 1oz mushrooms (raw)
- 1oz grape tomatoes
- 1oz bocconcini cheese
- 2tbsp Renee's Ceasar Dressing
- 3oz Chicken breast, grilled

Snacks
- 3oz celery, with
- 1tbsp Renee's Ranch Dressing (for dipping!)
- 2 Pepperettes
- 1oz Cheddar
- 1 hardboiled egg

Dinner
- 1 serving Stuffed Peppers (4 carbs, 1.5 oz of cheese)
- Green Beans (unsure of how much as of yet! likely 1/2 cup with some butter)

How does that look to you all? That would bring me to 19 carbs, 1535 calories, and my ratio is sitting at 67%/5%/28%. I didn't lose very much in one month's worth of induction (about 6lbs), so I figure I might as well check in and see if there's something I'm missing that isn't as glaringly obvious as I might think!

Now I have some questions. The Renee's Ranch is made with real sour cream, so of course, I count it towards my sour cream allowance for the day. The Ceasar has lemon juice and parmesan, so I could it towards my lemon juice and cheese allowance for the day. But does this seem like too much 'creamy' foods to anyone? Am I overdoing anything?

By your stats, it says that you have 50 pounds to lose...considering a person will lose 5% to 10% of their desired amount in the first two weeks, I'd say you were right about where you need to be, so don't stress out about that.
Have you read this yet?

Your ratios look good..I'd say that was a really good day.

This is where Fitday really shines. If you find you are eating all of this, and you see that your fat % is through the roof, then you know you've overdone something.
Take some time (yes, it's a pain) to add them into the 'custom foods' area in Fitday, so you get a really true reading from them, and keep on keeping in mind that they are containing the sour cream, cheese and lemon juice.

I think you are doing really well...fantastic variety in your foods...everything looks good to me. :yes

Thanks for reminding me of that - I do need to be reminded every so often. And - I had read that previously, but forgot about it entirely - so this time, I'm gonna bookmark it for when I'm feeling crappy about how much I've lost so far. And I'm gonna remind myself why I'm doing this, above all else - which is to gain a better quality of life and health!

I'm glad to hear that I'm doing a-ok!

so when you add all that up how many cups of veggies are you having?

did you add 5 net carbs of those induction veggies to your induction average daily carb limit?

Are any of those vegies new to you? if so you only want to eat a new to you food 3 times the first week you add it to your food choices so you can know how it effects you and have control of any bad effects it gives you.

Happy OWLing.
