| It is extremely important to get yourself a copy of Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution, version 2002 (DANDR for short) and read it through so you are doing the diet correctly. :yes As it is, you are not doing Atkins correctly: there's no skipping meals, sugar is an absolute no-no, carrots aren't allowed until way up the rungs in OWL, and the aspartame in your diet 7-up isn't allowed either. It doesn't look like there's enough fat in your meals, and yes, you are required to eat 3 cups of vegetables from specific lists. Please don't do this according to what you've heard about the diet...get the book, and get the basics from the source. The book will explain the 'why' behind the diet as well, and that helps it all to come together and make sense. fitday.com can help you chart how you are doing with your foods...heres a link to help you with that http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ic.php?t=66107 All the best to you! |

| As well as what Moochiecat suggested I think you might need to check the nutrition and ingredients of your sausages. I don't know if in Ireland you have the same problems we have in UK that most sausages contain fillers like breadcrumbs and other starchy stuff :yikes the only sausages I have found here that are at all suitable for Atkins induction are bratwurst and other continental sausages which are over 95% meat . Some UK sausages especially the cheaper ones dont even have 50% meat in them :yikes
