| Not sure.......are you allowed 2 cups of veg that arent lettuce?I thought it was 2 cups lettuce, 1 cup on the allowed list........am I wrong? Also, doesnt Teryaki sauce have sugar?All the ones here label sugar pretty high up on the list of ingredients..........perhaps I am wrong.......wont be the first time........just another newbie trying to help

| Diva, yup, you're wrong. It's two cups from the 'salad' veggie list which contains veggies such as peppers and mushrooms, not just lettuces. It's kind of confusing because we think of 'salad' as 'lettuce'. So, it can be three cups from the 'salad' list or two cups from the salad list and one cup from the 'other' acceptable veggie list. Hope that made sense! So, Babygirl, your menu looks pretty good! I do agree about the chicken wings. I'd like to know what the ingredients are on the label. I'm guessing that there is some sugar or starches in there, but hey, I could be wrong there too. The point is, read labels and if there is something listed not on the acceptable food lists for induction, don't eat it! Looks like you're doing great though. |
