Default Here is my menu..

Breakfast: 2 sausage patties, scrambled eggs with cheese

Lunch: Tuna Salad made with mayo and little bit of relish, 1/2 cup of stir fry veggies (3 carbs per serving)

Dinner: (a) Frozen dinner (meat and veggies) less than 10 carbs
(b) hamburger patty with cheese, small side salad

How's it looking?

Its looking sort of ok. But alarm bells are ringing with me on the "little bit of relish". Not on the induction list of foods.

What veggies are in the frozen dinner? also which vegetables are you having stir fried?

Also how much water are you guzzling?

Thanks

Rich

In the frozen dinner, mostly red and green peppers and onions, mushrooms, celery. In the stir fry there are some of the same ingredents as above with snow peas, water chestnuts, basically a manderin stir fry. I know the relish sounds questionable. It is a sugar free relish though.... I promise. H20 consumption is 64oz-80oz a day. Thanks for the eval, anything is helpful.

GOOD GRIEF!
So listen to this. Here I am thinking that a fast and easy breakfast would be to stop by McDonald's on the way home in the morning when I get off work (I work 3rd shift) and get myself 2 sausage patties and a order of eggs. Seemed induction safe.

Well after looking through some posts, it seems as if there sausage has sugar in it and the eggs have something like 5 carbs, I repeat.......................

GOOD GRIEF!
Maybe that has a little teeney bit to do with my stalled weight loss, as I have been eating this every morning for 2 weeks or so! NO MORE I SAY, NO MORE!

I never order scrambled eggs, they usually put something in them to make them 'fluffy'!! It sucks, you never know what they put in food. I never order steak unless I am sure they don't pump it full of sugar. The main ingredient in meat tenderizer is SUGAR!!! That sucks!! Don't be afraid to ask questions when you order out, or go to their website if they have one. I am sure you will be shrinking much faster now!!
Oh, I worked 3rd shift for 2 years, its tough. Good for you sticking to this WOE while on that crazy shift. Be proud of yourself!!

You're learning how important it is to read labels, not carb counts. For example, your mixed stir-fry veggies or frozen dinners may have a low carb count, but may indeed have ingredients not on the acceptable food lists for your level of Atkins. Like...oh...carrots for example. Or starches in frozen dinners. It's very important to know exactly what you're eating. Also, with your menu, I have no idea if you're getting in all your veggies. It's helpful to us when you post a menu, to tell us exactly. And yup, that means measuring!

Be careful of frozen dinners. I have experienced some have hidden sugars.

Here we have a place called White Castle's (some places have similar place called Crystals). They serve burgers and what not's on really little buns. Anyhoo - I always go in and asked for the breakfast sandwich (no cheese- makes everything stick to bun) and you can watch them crack the egg on the griddle right in front of you and they don't add anything. I have to check on the sausage though. Then you just take off the bun. They are really good.
