| not eating the yolk is your choice but it is Atkins legal. spreading your veggie carbs out to all meals is a great start fine a carb counter food logger you like and keep a running tab on your carbs and foods. www.fitday.com is a free site many ADBBers use and then put a link to theirs in their post if they are having trouble so folk can eyeball the foods and see if they can spot any possible food issues.

| Well done for including some veggies with your breakfast!! The rest of that meal looks good and on-plan too. Eat the yolks if you like them, as 2big said.

| Ok kewl! I'm glad I've been doing my meal planning correctly. I've already lost 5 pounds in 4 days so I must be doing something right. Here's a question though, I went out to dinner last night and ordered grilled chicken breasts, green beans and it came with a side salad. I chose to use olive oil and venegar as my salad dressing. Does vinegar contain carbs? I have a bottle of Apple Cider vinegar here that I like to use on my salads and it doesn't have a label on it to list the carbs or anything so am I safe using that type of vinegar? |

| "Vinegars vary in carbohydrates (1-3 grams per tablespoon) but since the amount you use is very small, the differance is not really important. Avoid balsamic vinegar which contains sugar." quote from DANDR p.374 I personally use Braggs unfiltered Apple Cidar at home but if I am out in a restaurant I use what they have.

| Ok, I finished my meal plan for a whole day and I hope I got everything right. I know you guys said my breakfast was a good start but what about my lunch and dinner? I didn't have a vegetable for lunch because I wanted to save the last 2 cups for dinner. Also, I've cut down on my Diet Pepsi intake to about one a day rather than 3 and the Crystal Light Packets that I add to my bottled water but I am curious if that one Diet Pepsi a day will hurt me or should I cut it down to maybe once a week? Breakfast ~ 1 Cup Green Pepper Copped and Cooked 3 Egg Whites (The Yolk On The Last Egg Sort Of Slipped In) 1 Mozarella Cheese Stick (1 OZ) 3 Strips Of Bacon Lunch~ 1 Can (10 Oz) Of Chicken Breast 1 Mozarella Stick (1 OZ) Dinner~ 2 Cups Of Salad 2 OZ Of Shredded Parmesan Cheese 2 Chicken Breasts 1 TBSP Olive Oil 1 TBSP Apple Cider Vinegar |

| If it were me (and this is only my opinion mind you), if all you drink is one a day and it doesn't cause you any problems, go for it, this is a lifetime deal here not a diet that you do for a month or two and then blow. As long as it does not stall you, have it and enjoy it. Lots of people say that they have their one soda to calm their sweet tooth. Dr. Atkins says caffeine causes problems for some. You may be one of the lucky ones that it doesn't hurt. Good luck and let us know how that works out.
