Default veggie menu

I thought I should try this, in case someone could help me improve

Breakfast around 8
Leaf lettuce with about half a cup of tomatoes and mushrooms, 2 ounce sour cream and 2 ounce mozzarella shredded cheese

Lunch around 12
Salad with about 3 cups lettuce, 1/4 cup tomato, 2 ounce feta cheese and veggie burger/chicken (have about 3 net carbs) and 2tbs olive oil

then i eat snacks around 6-10 such as a cup of cucumber, cup of mushroom, stick of cheese or another small salad of lettuce with dressing

I usually slightly overdo my veggetables and cheese but i don't have much choices ... i just try and stick with more lettuce so carbs r not too high

Any suggestions?

Here is a post in the FAQ forum with an idea of what one vegetarian Atkineer was eating on induction
http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ead.php?t=6729 (Can I do Atkins as a Vegetarian?)

Hope it helps.

Hmm... that's exactly what I'm eating except less veggie meat ... in another post it was being discussed on how it's not Atkins friendly but I guess if the "longest veggetarian member" thinks it's okay I will eat more

Depends on where I am. If I go home after work I will have some veggies and cheese, but if I'm out I will have some small salad usually at this greek place

sorry
crude I hate that somebody edited that topic when they redid the FAQs cause we had a copy of the letter from Dr Atkins Staff with the food lists for the vegetarians exactly as he was treating his patients along with MIssy's post. They recomended tofu too even during induction.

In addition to the tofu, you might want to incorporate other non-meat proteins like seitan.

Furthermore, you might want to move to OWL, if you haven't already, so you can begin to add legumes and grains.
