| Looks great to me! Is the quiche something you made? As long as it's a crustless quiche, it's fine.

| It's crustless ( and it still tasted good)! I found it on http://users3.ev1.net/~fontlady/indu...ion_menus.html This is a fantastic website! Kudos to Linda and thanks for replying! |

| Angeleieze, Just a couple of pointers or hints for you to digest and think about. You've got a bit of cheese happening there, just be careful - cheese is a problem for everyone! You seem to be eating a lot of cured or processed meats like ham, bacon, patties etc. Just and get some real meat happening more often. Actual pork and whole beef meat. This will cut down on all the things they put into ham, bacon and esp patties. It will be healthier too!

I would say that as long as you are staying within the 3-4 ounces of cheese it is a bit early to start assuming you will have a problem with cheese, so if it is helping you stick with induction eating then keep going as you are. I do agree that the processed meats might cause a problem if they have a lot of salt in them - some people find it makes them retain water, but again carry on the way you are for your 14 days induction before restricting yourself too much. It is more important to eat only from the allowed list now, which youseem to be doing great with

| Thanks everyone for the feedback. I am keeping the cheese between 3 and 4 ounces. If I don't see good results, then I will take Dave's advice and cut out some of that cheese. Today I had/having Breakfast: 1 1/2 eggs w/ 1 oz. cheese and bacon Snack: Mozzarella string cheese 1 oz. Lunch: chicken salad with lettuce (4 leaves), cucumbers (1/4 cup), tomatoes (1/4 cup), 1 oz. cheddar cheese Snack: 2 ham and cream cheese (1/2 ounce) roll ups Dinner: Grilled chicken strips, 1 cup lettuce, 1 tablespoon ranch dressing, (1/4 cup cucumbers) Goal of at least 150 ounces H2O. |
