I did atkins about 4 yrs ago and lost 80lbs..I think I have it down but maybe someone can spot something wrong? I've been doing strict induction for a month, with no weight loss, and no difference in measurements from 3 mos ago. I eat until I am full which isn't more than a chicken breast, or sizeable piece of meat..and a side of salad or veggies. I'm definitely not excessively eating any one thing. Drink nothing but water, and pump that. Of course this is yesterday's menu..the veggies change around a bit, I change my "meals" around too..sometimes I will have a chicken breast for breakfast, and and eggs for dinner if I feel like it, but essentially it's the same types of foods.

I do 30 mins either jogging, walk away the pounds tapes, or on a stationary bike daily 4x/week along with some sit ups, leg lifts, and weights for arm toning.

Nice menu!

I agree with Sandy. Looks like you've got the style of Atkins eating down pat. Good for you! So... try reducing or cutting out the cheese. Some people find this helps kick start weight loss again. If it's so for you, you can re-introduce it very slowly later, and see how you get on.

That is also what i was suspecting, the cheese. I had no problems before so I keep trying to push that out of the back of my mind, becaus I absolutely LOVE cheese. I will cut it out starting now and see how that does. Should I replace that with anything, like maybe a little more fats? Thanks guys!

Hi I usually dont comment to much on the menus but just wanted to point out, the first time i did atkins, i could eat cheese and processed meats everyday, but now i have had to cut back on cheese and i only eat processed meat 2-3x a week and my weight loss has started back up, i just notice u eat bacon, not sure if you eat that daily or not.

Well you could start by switching maybe to a Ranch dressing for your lunch.... I was eating a lot of cheese in the beginning.. But I have found I really love Boiled eggs in the morning with some butter and pepper.. I can't eat scrambled eggs without cheese..so switching to the boiled eggs helped in the cheese department..

I still love my nuked cream cheese when I need something creamy...

Heya, you didn't mention vitamins, if you aren't taking any I'd highly recommend it. About a month in my weight loss slowed, I added CoQ10 and L-Carnitine to my usual one-a-day and it picked right back up.

Also would suggest that now may be a good time to enter the OWL phase. Many people have found that weight loss starts right back up again once they get those extra veggies.

I've also thought about moving up to OWL..but wasn't sure if that would end up doing me more harm than good when I have such a big amount I need to lose.

I am taking my vitamins daily.

I am sure eating more vegetables never did anyone any harm!! So why not move to the first rung and see how you get on?
You can stay on any of the OWL rungs for as long as you want to
