| alaska, i don't understand your dinner of flaxmeal with butter. i see only .5 cup of snow peas as your veggie. that's no where near enough. check you induction list of veggies again and try to get more tomorrow.

| Alaska, don't freak out. Remember calories are secondary to the carbs. Yes, calories do count, but they shouldn't be the main focus. 2000 calories is not a whole lot. If you were talking 3,000 or 4,000 then we'd have a little worrying to do. I actually found that I lost faster when I ate more calories. How many calories are you eating on a normal day? You should be eating around 1600 - 1800. I don't know your age, but based on the other stats your BMR is about 1600. So 2,000 is not that far off!

| Alaska, I think the best advice at any stage in this WOE is to remain calm and when in doubt, re-read the DANDR (I keep mine in my purse just in case I need a little pick-me-up). The less freaking out you do, the more likely you are to stay on plan and be successful. It feels a little strange at first to eat things that are not allowed on other WOE's. But, you will start seeing results and begin to understand that it's mainly the carb intake that matters. As long as you're not totally bingeing (it's difficult to binge if you're staying within your allotted veggies and not overdoing the cheese and meat), you'll be just fine!!..if you're REALLY worried, get a little extra excercise! ![]() p.s. As I looked at your menu, I would agree with Jimmie. Where are your veggies?? Also, there are tons of appetizing things you can eat on this WOE (unless you like...LOVE flaxmeal..personally if I NEED it I'll eat it, but seriously now...stir fry is your tasty little friend!) Have you looked at the recipe sections? Good Luck!! Last edited by PinkLady260; May 28th, 2007 at 05:45 PM. Reason: Typo! |
