| What about your other meals and snacks? Is this all you're eating for the day? Hopefully not. If there isn't, then you really need to eat a little more. That could be one of the reasons you're not losing. Also, it looks like your short a cup of veggies. Try having veggies other than just lettuce and cucmber-like stuff. There aren't a whole lot of nutrients in those types. Otherwise, the choices look good. You said a lot about not having any physical activity right now. You gotta try to do something. If you're not exercising, at least a little, then you're not doing Atkins.

| A tasty vegetable, especially this time of year when they're in season, is summer squash. Just slice them into silver dollar-sized pieces, and saute them in olive oil (or canola or butter...) with some black pepper. A cup (113g), raw, has ~2.5 net carbs. Kale can be bitter and is tough, so if you're looking for greens I'd recommend something like spinach or swiss chard.

| It is different than summer squash. I believe it's listed in Fitday. It is induction-friendly.

| Higgies beat me replying. Anyway, spaghetti squash (once baked) can be shredded into spaghetti like strands. You can then serve it like pasta with sauce or butter. Either way, it's good. It's going to be my dinner tomorrow night. Here's a link on how to cook them : http://lowcarbdiets.about.com/od/coo...spagsquash.htm |
