| Pork rinds? I would say cream cheese with 1pkt splenda? But I think you're at 2oz of cheese already for the day... bacon? Another hamburger patty? tuna or chicken salad? sliced meats - like ham or beef or something?

| Those sliced pepperonis that you put on pizzas? Pop a few in the microwave for about a minute. They turn crunchy like a chip. A little spicy but really good if you're having a chip craving. I was also going to mention pork rinds. Love them. You might be having a little bit too much cheese. Just keep an eye on it and make sure you're losing. I use to get a low carb dressing that was really good with no sugar but they are hard to find anymore. If you really hunt you can find some. I got an off brand at the dollar store that is real good with no sugar but when I went back they were all out. |

| If you do the pepperoni chips, put *lots* of paper towels under them. the dressing is supposed to be like, what? 1g sugar or less per 2T... which most regular dressings (ranch and blue cheese) are...

| Yes it is the dressing with 1 g of sugar per 2 tbsp. Yes I really do max out my cheese, I love it. Unfortunately for me sometimes! I can't seem to find a pepperoni with no sugar in it.

| The only comment I would add to what the others have said is - try to space your vegetables out over the day instead of having them at one meal. This will help to even out any blood sugar 'spikes' from them. You could increase your veg carbs by choosing other more nutrient-dense ones from the 'salad veg' list and also eating a cup from the 'other veg' list. We recently had a veggie challenge here where people tried to get 12-15 carbs (Dr Atkins tells us we should get 'most' of our net 20 carbs from veg) from their allowed induction 3 cups and many people succeeded in it.

| The problem is that I don't like too many veggies from the allowed list so I stick mostly to lettuce. I have had cauliflower and fried onion on occasion and that is about it. Anyway, stressful day ahead! I have to take my 3 year old to the hospital this afternoon, he is getting his adenoids and tonsils out.

| Will send up a prayer for your little one, my grandson had that done a couple of months ago and he is doing much better illness wise. not all those nasty ear infections. I made cauliflower last night for dinner and thought I would have some for lunch today, found out my 20 month old granddaughter is a cauliflower freak!! She was CRAZY about it and gobbled it up. Thats so good for her. she called it bocli flower she loves broccoli too.
