| You menu looks fine, as loong as you are feeding your hunger and not till 'stuffed'. Wait till your 14th day and weigh again then you can work out from the chart in DANDR what sort of resistance to weightloss you have. BTW with 17 pounds total to lose, a 'normal' amount to lose in the 14 days would be between 13 ounces (0.85 lb) and 27 ounces (1.7 lbs) Have your measurements changed since you started Induction?

| That is the theory - but when on induction concentrate on counting carbs, not calories.

| You could try cutting back on protein a little and adding more fat. If I eat too much meat, my weight stalls. YMMV, of course.

If you're not wedded to the ratio, I would try cutting back a bit on meat portions. Scramble eggs with a tablespoon of heavy cream instead of eating poached. Dress cucumbers with a sour cream dressing. (max 2-3T. of sour or heavy cream per day, per the 2002 DANDR). If all of that sounds unappetizing, use a scale and weigh your meat portions. Be sure to measure everything you eat -- you may be eating more than you think! Be sure to vary your diet. If you eat the same thing every day, you're more likely to be eating a food that might stall you. I would also be sure to read the packinging on everything. If it's pre-cooked, it may contain sugar. Check it!

| I just realized that Fitday does not show fiber on the public journal (which is darn weird, frankly). You appear to be hitting 20 carbs on the nose. You know you can subtract dietary fiber from the carb count in a food, right?

I really have been good wit checking labels , eat very little processed meats & i have mayonnaise wit all my salads!!!! Also how many grams of protein should i limit myself to so that it doesn't convert to glucose!!!???
