| Hi, I'm not sure how much cabbage is in 8oz but you are required to eat 3 cups of vegetables a day so make sure you are getting those veggies in! Also, you should only be drinking decaf coffee because caffeine is not allowed during induction. Good luck!

| It isn't a good idea to have all your veggies in one meal. They should be spread out and do make sure you are getting your three cups! |

| The '8 ounces' in the UK version of DANDR is not that accurate as it is supposed to be the equivalent of one cup of cabbage. (My theory is that someone in the UK publisher company thought that one cup which equals 8 fluid ounces is the same as 8 weight ounces!!) To get the proper weights per cup you can look at the thread in the 14-day induction forum that Soliwit worked out and uploaded for us to use. http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...p-measure.html (Weights of vegetables per cup measure) According to this one cup of cabbage is 3.1 ounces - less than half of what the UK book says!!

| Thanks for the link. I was looking for that thread when I was posting that earlier but I couldn't find it.
