| Check the list of ingredients of the Atkins bar - I am fairly sure they will contain some ingredients that are not induction-legal. As Kirsty said, many people find the bars slow down their losses or even stop them cold. In fact the Atkins company website used to have a FAQ page where they admitted that some people 'may' find that the bars or other products will stall their losing and if so, to stop eating them and see if it is causeing problems. Other foods to watch out for on your menu are carrots - a starchy veg so not introduced till the 8th rung of OWL smokies - I assume some sort of sausage (?) - check label for any non-induction ingredients Salad dressing - again check for ingredients - some dressings contain sugar or hfcs so are not 'legal'.

| Okay - I will cut out the bars and see if that helps and will check my labels. I will also cut out the carrots. What are hfcs? Thanks! |

| Okay, I just checked the label for the little smokie sausages and they contain dextrose. This is a problem, right, since it is derived from corn starch? I really hate eggs, so do you have any other recommendations as to induction friendly breakfast foods? |

| Hfcs = high fructose corn syrup (= sugar) And you are right - dextrose is also not allowed Lately I have been making crustless quiches and having a slice of it for breakfast with a few cherry tomatoes. Or you could make Pau's mini quiches in muffin tins (for the recipe click on the link in my signature and select the 'p' page.) Sometimes I have ham and cheese rollups using either cream cheese or slices of gouda, or if I make flax bread (recipe in the same recipe site - look under 'm' for microwaved flax bread)I might have-a couple of thin slices of that spread with butter and marmite (yeast spread) with my cherry tomatoes.
