Default My daily menu for the past week good for ppl on the go Whataburger & Subway lol

I wanted to know if this menu is ok. I am 6'6 405 lbs and this is about 1/4 the food i usually consume so i am adjusting to the hunger, so i drink extra water...

wakeup 16 oz water / drive to:

breakfast: @ whataburger - 1 carb - 20g sat fat
113 Grams of Eggs - 1 sugar (1 carb)
140 Grams of Pork Sausage Patty - o carbs
12 oz coffee
*daily multivitamin without IRON

"snack" - 24 oz water

5 hours later Lunch @ subway

1.5 cups of lettuce
2 scoops of tuna fish with mayo
oil/vinegar no "dressing"
16 oz water

"snack" - 24 oz water

dinner (varies, but i mostly consume this)
2 lettuce wrapped 6oz mesquite cooked chicken breasts (chicken has 1 sugar = 2 carbs) (2 leafes of small boston lettuce)
3 pieces of 4 ounce cheese (o carbs)
16 oz water

"snack" - 24 oz water

Thats been my last 5 days and it's a living ****... until today when i woke up and actually started craving this crap...

so on a dialy basis i eat pork, fish, and chicken... sometimes eat pepper seasoned fajita beef instead of chicken... my ketox strips tell me i'm in "moderate" ketosis.... i am 150lbs overwieght and this is the first diet i have ever attempted i wanted to make sure this diet is ok...

Hi Donny,
Welcome! I'm no expert but the first thing that popped out at me was the lack of good veggies. I eat salads at Subway sometimes and they have great veggies to add to the salad. And when you eat out as much as you do it's really hard to tell what exactly is going in your food.

I was gonna say the exact same thing ..... veggies seem to be lacking. You should be consuming approximately 20 carbs a day and 15 of them should be coming from veggies ..... lettuce alone just doesn't cut it. Add in some peppers and onions and mushrooms to that salad maybe some broccoli or squash at night ....get those veggie carbs up!!!

Otherwise for a guy on the go it looks like your really making it work for you!

Yes I agree. I would also suggest that if you feel hungry a lot that eat more of the protein and fat. You should not really be hungry with Atkins although learning portion control is also important. I am not sure if you say you are eating 12 ounces of cheese. That is too much for induction. We are limited to a few ounces. Try to snack on egg with mayo instead.

I agree with Susan, you should be able to get peppers or other non-lettuce 'salad veg' from Subway which will give you more nutrition and carbs. Remember we are supposed to get 'most' of our induction carbs from our veg!
