| I make this ranch dressing:
You actually got me thinking with blue cheese - I bet a piece of blue cheese mixed in with this would be divine! |

| try walden farms dressing if you can find it. they have a ranch and bleu cheese flavor. no carbs, no calories, no sugar. i got their creamy bacon and it's pretty darn good. |

| I've struggled with the same issue regarding processed and prepackaged salad dressings. I decided to skip it and go Greek, Italian, and/or make my own vinegrette (you can find a simple olive oil, red wine vinegar, water, herb recepie anywhere on line). Here are some finer points that caused me to stall because I was ignorning them. 1. I had to eliminate coffee for two weeks. Then reintroduce decaf with 1tsp heavy cream, and 1 splenda packet (1g carb). Limit splenda and cream to 3 servings per day. 2. I wasn't counting the carbs in eggs (1 per large egg) 3. I wasn't eating enough FAT. Fat should make up 65% of calories! So I snacked on pork rinds and started cooking my eggs in real butter. 4. Drink water. When you think you've had enough. . .drink more. You should be getting half you body weight in ounces of water each day. |
