| I like your menu. I like how you are spreading out your veggies. On day one - chicken fried in PAM - you know that you can use regular olive oil or butter? It is good to get some fat in with chicken as you end up with too much protein if you get all your calories just from "plain" chicken On the day 2 example you may be exceeding the cheese limit so watch that. Also on day two the whey powder is an OWL addition - rung 2 dairy. Is the whey powder you are using sweetened - if so that drink of yours is really putting you over the sweetener limit of the day. (I make something similar myself - and I love it though)

| Thanks for the advice! I am using a zero-carb protein powder, but I am not sure if it is sweetened or not...it has no sugar in it. Is that still okay? However, I should mention that I am doing extended induction, so I have passed my 2 weeks on strict induction. I am just trying to keep my carbs low until I reach my goal. Thanks again, and I'll ease up on the cheese (mmm, cheese!). ~Krissy |

| Check the ingredients on the powder - it will say if they add sweetener. Whey is not allowed on induction and extended induction is still induction. You can climb OWL and still keep your carb relatively low. The idea of this is to learn to eat healthy for the rest of your life not just to lose weight. Most people who just use low carb to lose weight and do not climb the carb ladder will end up just putting it back again. That is just something to think about. The first step on OWL is more veggies. That cannot hurt.
