| The seafood salad may not be appropriate - if you were eating artificial crab or lobster or whatever they call it, since it's made with a lot of sugar. Other than that, I'm sure you know, not enough veggies, not enough fat, but not completely horrific. Much better than having twinkies for lunch and a McGriddle for breakfast.

| Oh.. I thought you had lost the initial 153lbs with Atkins. You do have (and have read) the book, right? Like I said, it's not completely horrific. Mini sausages (at least the ones I have in the cabinet) are not completely awful, but they're not really great either. I think the ones I have are about 2.5g carbs per 8.. and they're loaded with sodium. The double cheeseburger is probably the most Atkins friendly "meal", but would have been better if you'd gotten a side salad to go with it. The seafood salad is the one thing I know probably has sugar in it, which makes it the worst. I am assuming you do not eat like this all the time, so if it's just a one day event of this is what I ate, it could be much worse. Not that I am suggesting to eat like this every day.

| i did lose 153lbs originally with low carb diet, but i did it on my own, didnt even know about this forum and just did the basics of meat and veg, no cheese etc. which reminds me i also ate 35g of cheddar cheese today. I normally eat more veg and chicken throughout the day, first time with the cheeseburger. Think might cut out the sausages.

| I think you should probably pickup the book. You should typically be eating much more veggies, more fats, and less cheese.

| Most sausages in UK have breadcrumbs or another starch in them as fillers as the typical 'british banger' has only between 25% and 65% meat in it ! Check the labels on those cocktail sausages - and if you find they are lowcarb with only meat and spices in them please do post the brand as I have never found any 'induction-legal' ones in my area

| Becare with the sausages, sometimes there is also hidden sugar. I don't think you are getting enough salad/veggies. Also the seafood sticks can not really be seafood at all. I have learned the hardway it is important to read the labels. Keep up the good work - it always pays off.
