| If I remember correctly there are 9 calories in each gram of fat and 4 calories in each gram of carbs and protein. For the example you gave 76 grams of fat * 9 calories per gram = 684 calories of fat 25 grams of carbs * 4 calories per gram = 100 calories of carbs 89 grams of protein * 4 calories per gram = 356 calories of protein Total calories (from the calculations above which don't match 1205) = 1140 The calculations is calories of fat, carbs, protein divided by total calories times 100. 684/1140*100 = 60% 100/1140*100 = 8.8% (for net carbs it's obviously less) 356/1140*100 = 31.2% Hopefully this helps! The first time I tried FitDay I HATED it ! Now I really do like it. It's a little time consuming on the front end when adding custom foods, but once they're added it's so easy to check them to include them in your menu. |

| Yes, those are the numbers for Induction. As you go up through the rungs of OWL your carb percentage will also go up and based on your food choices your protein and/or fat percentages will go down. |

| Our protein % of 30% should remain about the same throughout our Atkins journey, and so our fat % reduces as our carb% increases. I think a final % of 50% fat/30% protein/20% carbs is fairly average for maintenance.
