| You should be eating three cups of veggies during induction (see the rules of induction in the book or here (What are the Rules of Induction?)), so you are off by 1.5 cups. Most of your carbs should come from veggies, which is not the case for the menu you are showing. The dressing you are using has sugar in it, so try substituting it with a SF one or make your own. During induction, the average weight loss is 5-10% of your excess weight. For you, this means around 1-3 lbs.

| I want to cry-what dressings can I buy in the store? I thought sugar free meant sugar alcohols which is a nono- I don't have time to make my own dressing unless there is a fantastic no fuss caesar dressing-nothing in the store I can use with just 1 carb per serving? I am ready t cry and quit with my insomnia and no progress...

| No, I am sure I am off on the ounces then. It was maybe 6 tbs. whatever that is- I had it with a whole cucumber for lunch. I can't just eat veggies without a dip and now I am told I can't have dressing even though it has only one carb? I didn't remember you have to make your own from last time! Help!

| You can have the dressing - just use some portion control with it. Eat more veggies so that you have 3 cups of it. Try some fats - there is no oils or butter on you list? And perhaps limit your protein a bit. How tall are you? Are you exercising?

| I am frustrated and exhausted with this already- I don't think I can continue on induction with 3 cups of veggies and lemon juice only with herbs. Too hard for me. I have to see if anyone can recommend a store bought dressing without sugar and only 1 carb. You mean to tell me everyone is making their own Caesar from scratch?
