| 1st 3 questions - answers = yes, yes and yes... they can all cotribute to unsavory experiences on the bathroom scales! Be satisfied with this - it is temporary, if you are burning the fat, the water may come and go like tides, but you will still be shrinking. Take periodic readings of weight and measurement and thoug the scales may give you a roller coaster, just draw a line to connect the low spots, or better yet, stay off the scales a few days and keep up the good eating & drinking regimen. Add exercise too! (Especially important to boost metabolism).

| Susan has given you some great suggestions ![]() You haven't given us any idea of your weight-loss situation - how tall are you, what weight did you start at and what is your goal weight? Only those with high metabolic resistance to weight-loss and those with a large number of pounds to lose seem to benefit from staying for longer than the first 14 days on induction, so your body might benefit from a move to the main weight-loss phase of Atkins now. Many members have experienced a slowing of losses after the first 2 weeks which improved after moving to OWL.

| Do not skip breakfast. If you do not like eggs - maybe there is something else you can eat. I know you do not like eggs but have you tried them as a drink? This is a really good recipe (try it you may be surprised - I like it with some decaf ice cubes in it) http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...breakfast.html (eggnog shake for breakfast!!!) Other suggestions: piece of leftover meat - some taco meat -- a lettuce wrap with stuff. Don't eat vegetables without some protein or fats - always aim for a combination.
