| It looks good. You're a big planner. I don't know if I could do that. I have a couple of concerns though. The Atkins Web site have changed the rules somewhat. Here we follow Atkins 2002 and on it we have to eat 3 cups of veggies. Two of them from the salad list. (is the 2002 book the one you read?) And we have to watch cheese. I think there are days there where you have more than the 3-4 oz of cheese we are allowed. Watch it. Watch your cream allowance too. Also coconut is not allowed - rung 3 thing. I would not eat tomato as a snack. If you need snacks plan fat or protein. Devilled eggs for instance or a piece of pepperoni or olives or avocado (only half a day). I sometimes eat left over meat with mustard for snack. If you eat a carb for snack eat it with fat - mayo or cream cheese maybe. The jello could be a problem as the sweetener aspartame can stall some - I would try to avoid it on induction. What is in that hot and sour soup?

| Thank you for the information - I have eliminated the jello cups and tomatoes. I am a planner because I work, go to school, and I am a single mum! (Yes, that is how I gained all of my weight!) My inclination is to grab something quickly so I am going to make most of the food (or do the prep) today and tomorrow so that I can just re-heat or have everything ready to cook - A little obsessive, but I need to make sure that I stick to the plan. The hot and sour soup has rice vinegar, canola oil, garlic, mushrooms, low sodium chicken broth, firm tofu, soy sauce, red pepper flakes, sesame oil. I did read the 2002 book - but I was trying to make my life easier and was using the menus (minus the packaged bars/shakes) from the Atkins site. What I think I should do is print my list of induction foods and make up my own menus. I really don't want to screw up the induction phase. Thank you again for the help. |

| Just make sure you follow the rules and you can mix and match recipes from different places and make up a menu. Sometimes it is good to cook up something in the weekend to use later in the weak - like a roast for instance. Roast beef, mustard, lettuce roll up makes for a good snack. Linda's place is a good place to look for menus. That soup looks OK Also look here for some recipes http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...n-recipes.html (Never ending induction recipes) http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...r-tonight.html (What's For Dinner Tonight?)
