| I would say you need way more veggies. You are eating a lot of meat (that is good, but...), which takes a lot longer to digest, some times up to 2 weeks (or so I was taught in Biology) While veggies only take about 12 hours to complete the journey. And I would so more water. It helps flush you out and keep everything moving. Last off, measure your self, you could be gaining muscle.

| I see a lot of salt. No way you gained 4 pound of fat in a couple of days.. so it is something else.. water being the likeliest culprit! And the exercising can make your muscles hold to extra water too, but it isn't weight gain, and isn't a bad thing. Don't give up and don't weigh every day!

| Ok Deep breaths. You weighed yourself at the end of the day after exercise. Yes your scale will be up. Just works that way. Pick you time of day and be consistent. We can fluctuate a lot during a day so do not pay any attention to it - what so ever. And let that scale alone for a bit. I am thinking you are wearing it out. Your menu has some things that can be improved. *As has been mentioned you are skimping on your veggies. I am thinking on OWL you should be eating about 17-25 net carbs from veggies. You are not even close. There is a lot of salt in your menu this day (bacon, pepperoni, salami). You probably are retaining water You did not eat supper? Remember to drink your water. All of it. Most of all: You are doing fine. Relax. Things will even out.

| You are drinking Crystal Light. The stuff is sweetened with aspartame, which can slow down or stall your weight loss. Add this to the processed meat, lack of vegetables and only 40 oz of water, and you can see that your weight loss will be affected. Are you tracking your foods in something like FitDay? Do you know how many carbs you are consuming and from what sources, how many calories, how much sodium, fat, protein, etc.? You should be getting over half + 5 net carbs of your total net carbs from vegetables. For example, if during OWL Rung 1 you have a total of 18 net carbs, then 14 of these should come from vegetables. Also, did you check the salami and pepperoni for added sugars (e.g. dextrose) and for ingredients derived from soy or wheat?

| I just thought that I would add, beacuse I know a butcher and sausage maker, there's almost always some sugar in salami. Maybe the sausage meat is setting you back. I'm lucky enough to be able to get beef sticks with no suger added.
