| So how is it going? Are you losing fine? Feeling good? Drinking all your water and taking supplements? I think you can add more fat some days as it will help you with your ketosis but going to OWL is not going to necessarily fix that. You will just have to think a bit about your menu here and there. You may just need a little bit butter or mayo or oil at times. Except for nuts the foods you add on OWL are mostly carb foods so you need to work on that fat in indution. I would also work in some veggies. You are not getting enough veggies most days (remember 2/3 of your carbs should come from veggies) So this will be something else to work on. I did think it looked pretty good though. Moving up to OWL at this point is fine. You will work in some more veggies (but I think you need to do that anyways). So why not start there. And see how you feel. Did you lose well on induction? I see from our ticker that you do not have a lot to lose so starting that climb may be good now.

| I feel very good actually. I am getting more than enough water. I lost 8.5 pounds in the first two weeks. I am a little confused with the veggies. I have been getting 2 cups salad veggie and 1 cup other veggie(alot of times mixed in a dish like cauliflower hasbrown or my hamburger mix with veggies such as onion and tomatoe). I think the problem there is that I usually eat 2 cups of iceburg lettuce which doesn't have much carbs at all. There are not alot of salad veggies that I like so it creates a challenge for me. Lately when I have tried playing with my menu to add more fat by adding more oil or butter, it gets my protein and carbs out of whack. As far as how much to lose, I made 35 lbs my initial goal but I think I may alter it when I reach it. That would take me down to 160 lbs and I would be comfortable with that but I know I could go lower. Thanks for your input Liv |
