| Hello folks, i am 5 "2", 29 /f, and weigh about 130 pounds. i am trying to lose 30 pounds, i decided to go on atkins , i just need your help to see my menu whether i am doing it accurately. Morning- 6 Egg whites boiled+ green tea Lunch- One can of tuna 185 grms in brine+ two slice of tomato, two slices of cucumber Dinner- same as above+green tea once again, i am psyched and totally motivated and i do go to the gym 6 times a week too! Thanks guys! |

Do yourself a favor and read the book before starting Atkins. Also take a look at the FAQ section on the Board and read the stickies on top of the Induction forum. The book we use here is "Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution" (2002).

| zee, with what you are eating your weight loss is going to crash to a halt. You do not have enough fat in your diet to satiate you and you do not have enough calories to prevent your body from going into starvation mode. You need to be eating more food and more fat if you want to lose. I know that sounds odd but it is absolutely true. Georgiana is right. You are not doing Atkins. Please educate yourself and do this WOE safely and successfully. |
